On the day we intended to film in London I met Maxwell and Ricky in town at half 9 on the first day of half term, I thought it was going to be relatively busy this day but it wasn't as bad as we had all expected. We needed to go in the half term as there wouldn't have been any other time that we would be able to go to London to film. We left this early to ensure that we had a full day filming and this meant we were able to take our time when deciding what locations to use in order for our media video to look the best. The weather stayed dry all morning and afternoon which was beneficial as we had a lot of outdoor scenes to film. However, when we were heading home it had started to rain which was lucky as we had filmed what we needed to that day and our camera had ran out of battery.
As the batteries ran out on the cameras quickly we needed to ensure that we kept turning it off whilst we decided whre we needed to go next. If we hadn't of done this we wouldn't have been able to get the filming we needed done and would've had to return to London Zoo. Luckily, we got done what we needed to on the day that we had scheduled to film.
In the afternoon we went to Regents Park to film the bike scenes. Maxwell had difficulty filming Ricky and I on the bikes as he had to ride a bike himself whilst filming. Some of our clips are quite shakey due to the pavement being bumpy which made having a steady hand difficult for Maxwell. However once we had watched back the clip after he had filmed us riding the bikes, we realised and then went to a different area of the park where the pavements were smoother.
We were unable to take any photos for our ancillary tasks on this day as we wanted 3 members for our band and we didn't have Sam with us the day that we went to London. Another reason we didn't film on this day is because we wanted it to look like it was being filmed at a concert so the best place to do this would be the school hall where we could take photos at different angles and had an unlimited amount of time to do this as we could access it when we wanted to.
