Final Digi Pak

This is my finished digi pak. Although I struggled when using the template I think that my final piece was quite successful and was pleased with the outcome. I chose to have the beach as my front cover of the CD as I wanted the name of the band to be linked with the image. However looking at the image that i chose for the front cover i think i should have looked for a better seaside photo for the text to look more effective. I thought that having the three band members on the CD was good as it shows consumers the band members and i think the image fit onto the CD perfectly. The inside cover I had the band holding up signs similar to the ones we used in the music video. I edited it so that it was black and white and this gave the professional look to it that we went for when filming the boys singing as we got inspiration from bands such as Take That who are always smartly dressed but not all the exactly the same.

Photo's for Digi Pak

This is the image that i will be using in the inside page of the Digi Pak. I liked this image as it is another photo of the band and they are using the cardboard that we used in the music video apart from on the card board we had 'The Beach Boys' instead of 'Wouldn't it be nice'.

This is the photo that I will be using for my Digi Pak. I will be using this image on the CD cover so that when i cut out a circular shape from the image it will got around their heads so that it is cut out perfectly. I thought this image would be appropriate as where the middle of the CD would be would be in the centre of Sam's jumper so this way it doesn't cut out anything that is important and i need to have all the band members faces in.

Inspiration - Coldplay

In Coldplay's Paradise video they have an elephant which holds up pieces of cardboard with the words; 'Para' and 'Paradise' whilst Chris Martin sings. We liked this idea of the cardboard being held whilst the band sings over the top of it.

I edited these images in photoshop by print screening from youtube and then cropping them down so that i could look at the images individually and see how they have wrote the text onto the cardboard so we could see whether it was normally written or bubble writing.

Emailing The Record Company & The Band

It was essential that we emailed the band and their record company because we didn't want to get in trouble for copywright of the song so we emailed to ask for their permission.
